HARRISBURG – “A Great Gatsby Celebration” is the theme of The Civic Club of Harrisburg Affiliates GALA III to be held from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2015. Guests will be treated to music of the Roaring Twenties and a glimpse of West Egg on the East Shore of the Susquehanna River.
The 193rd Special Operations Wing (SOW) of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, located at Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown, is home to the only airborne Military Information Support Operations broadcasting platform in the U.S. military. Two of its Master Sergeants will speak at TCCH’s November meeting.
The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) is pleased to present Cathie Huber, president of Tastealotta, and Rynn Caputo, of Caputo Brothers Creamery, at 12:45 p.m. on Monday, October 6 at the club located at 612 S. Front Street in Harrisburg. The program, the second of six for the 2014-15 program series, features Huber’s talk about oils, vinegars and sea salts along with a mozzarella cheese demonstration by Caputo.

On Monday, May 5, 2014, The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) offers a 1 p.m. free public lecture by Jim Doyle, owner of Nature’s Way Nursery & Bonsai Studio in Harrisburg, to present and educate others on the art of Bonsai. He will speak about the history of this natural art form. Doyle will demonstrate, through clips and snips, his artistic passion to display creativity through Bonsai. The presentation will be held at TCCH, 612 N. Front Street, Harrisburg.
On Monday, March 3, 2014 at 12:45 p.m. The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) will host a mother-daughter team who started a local candy-making business. The program will be held at the TCCH clubhouse at 612 N. Front Street, Harrisburg.
HARRISBURG – “Windows on the Susquehanna... Sunrise...Sunset” is the theme of The Civic Club of Harrisburg’s second annual Gala to raise funds for the restoration of its historic landmark building, “Outlook” at 612 N. Front Street. The Gala will be held from 5:30 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2014.
HARRISBURG -- On Wednesday, October 9, beginning at 7:15 a.m., The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) will host its 10th breakfast meeting for area non-profit organizations. The meeting will be held at the club’s landmark building at 612 N. Front Street.
On Sunday, December 8, 2013, The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) will host its annual Holiday Champagne Brunch beginning at 1 p.m. at TCCH, 612 N. Front Street, Harrisburg. Cost of the event is $32 per person and guests will be entertained by members of the Harrisburg Choral Society, the oldest choral ensemble in the Capital region.
On Monday, November 4, The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH), Harrisburg’s oldest service organization, will feature a presentation, “Highlights in the PA Legislature,” by Representative Patty Kim.
